St. John, USVI
A St. John villa that actually works with kids
Three bedrooms, three baths, full kitchen, heated pool, and a 10-minute drive to the calmest beaches on the island.
Families come back to St. John because everything is short, calm, and protected: 20-minute drives between beaches, shallow turquoise water that even toddlers will get into, and a National Park covering two-thirds of the island so there's room to breathe. Sunset Villa adds a home base that works for the whole family — three bedrooms, three baths, heated pool, and a kitchen built to actually cook in.
Plus a quiet hilltop road safe enough for kids to ride bikes on, and a rooftop where the parents can decompress after the kids go down.

Kid-easy beaches close by
Honeymoon Beach 12 min, Maho (turtles!) 15 min, Hawksnest 8 min. All calm, all shallow, all with parking.
Pack-n-play & high chair
Already at the villa, no need to fly with them. Beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, and a cooler are all here too.
Quiet road, big stars
Almost no traffic past the villa. Quiet enough for kids to fall asleep early and for the parents to actually see the stars from the roof.
The family rhythm that works at Sunset Villa
Most families settle into the same pattern by day 2: early beach (8–11am while it's cool and empty), back to the villa for lunch and pool/nap, easy afternoon at the villa, dinner in or a casual Cruz Bay spot by 6pm, kids down by 8, parents on the roof. Repeat for a week.

Frequently asked
›Is St. John good for families with young kids?
Yes — calm protected beaches like Honeymoon, Maho, and Hawksnest have shallow water with gradual sandy entries, easy snorkeling, and rentable chairs/umbrellas. Short drive times between everything make it less exhausting than other Caribbean islands.
›How many people does the villa sleep?
Up to 6 across three bedrooms (two with king beds, one with twins or king on request). Each bedroom has a private bathroom.
›Is there a crib or high chair?
Yes — we keep a pack-n-play and a high chair at the villa. Just let us know in advance so we have them set up when you arrive.
›How safe is the pool for kids?
The pool is fenced from the bedroom decks but is part of the open main entertaining area, so it requires adult supervision like any villa pool. We can install a temporary mesh fence for an additional fee if you have toddlers.
