Sunset Villa is about a 5-minute drive from the Cruz Bay ferry dock — close enough to be in town for dinner in under 10 minutes, far enough up the hill to be quiet and have unobstructed views.
›Can you walk to Cruz Bay from the villa?
It's walkable downhill (about 25 minutes) but the climb back is steep and we don't recommend it in the heat of the day. Most guests drive or take a $6 taxi each way.
›Do I need a car if I stay here?
We recommend a Jeep for the freedom to reach the north-shore beaches, but it's optional. Cruz Bay restaurants, the ferry, and taxis to Trunk Bay are all easy from the villa without one.
